Here at Etsy, we couldn’t be more proud to be a place where creative people choose to show up authentically, to multiply joy, and to live by values that make life one of colour, expression, and positive intention for everyone.

Etsy is powered by people, and at the heart of that are sellers — real individuals who create incredible things because they dared to follow their own path. By showing up and boldly representing, these LGBTQIA+ sellers are increasing visibility and making the world a more beautiful and inclusive place. Happy Pride to that!

So, to celebrate Pride Month, let us introduce you to six UK-based LGBTQIA+-owned Etsy shops and the superstar sellers behind them.

1. Nature, queerness, and magic: Tulips & Heather Shop, Norwich

For: prints, stationery, zines and other paper goods

Queer and wild mini postcard prints

SHOPQueer and wild mini postcard prints from Tulips & Heather Shop, £3.50

Tulips & Heather Shop is run by Maya and Freya, a queer couple who both illustrate works that make them feel connected to the world and other people – the past and the future. Their art is pastorally poetic, with art prints such as ‘A Defiant Ocean’, a paper cut work inspired by a mix of sources: protest banners, stained-glass panels, gravestone carvings, Pre-Raphaelite paintings, and imagery of Joan of Arc. All of these references are examined through a queer lens to express defiant joy and gentle love. Committed to sensitivity, slowness, and storytelling, this shop only uses UK-based manufacturers and is committed to making sustainable choices for their packaging.

At The Paper Circus, eco-conscious, paper jewellery takes the spotlight. It all started when the self-proclaimed “ringmaster” Corran began making origami decor for a nightclub event and selling earrings at student fundraisers. This, eventually, led to her opening an Etsy shop and sending her lightweight and wearable art all over the world. To express yourself and celebrate your interests, pick up a pair of her signature butterfly or bird earrings.
